Satoko is originally from Tokyo, but grew up living in various parts of Japan, Singapore, and Canada. Utilizing her multi-cultural and bilingual background, she started working as a translator for NativShark in 2019 but is now in charge of managing content workflows and providing feedback on Fix My Japanese submissions.
Ty, in Fukuoka, is the primary Japan representative for NativShark. He manages things on the ground in Japan, the NativShark social media, team travel in Japan, the community on discord and more. One of our earliest students, he managed to pass the JLPT N1 in just under 4 years. He is from Connecticut, USA.
Ivan calls the Great White North of Alberta, Canada home, though he's frequently looking for excuses to travel. Having fallen in love with Japan after a brief visit, he hopes to make it another home away from home in the not too distant future.
