General
- The URL for your dashboard is now https://www.nativshark.com/my-journey. The system will automatically redirect you there if you are logged in.
- Fixed an issue where signing out would cause an error to occur.
Subscriptions
- Upon subscribing, you will now be redirected to a page confirming your subscription and then taken back to your dashboard. This should result in a smoother experience for users.
Content
Typos / content changes
- Changed the kunyomi example sentence in the 雨 kanji flashcard. It's now more natural and doesn't use parentheses.
- Fixed typo in the English translation of 寝てほしい。 sentence.
- Fixed highlighting in 警察に車を止められた。 vocab card.
- Unit 114 dialogue speaker now have names instead of A and B.
- Fixed kunyomi example sentence on 犬 kanji flashcard. It was originally duplicating the onyomi example sentence.
- Fixed a typo in a header in the "て-form of i-adjectives" lesson.
- Fixed a typo in an English explanation in the "Sentence-ending particles: よ and ね" lesson.
- Added a missing comma in "ます-stem に行く" lesson.
- Added missing highlighting in ～たい vocab flashcard.
- Added missing literal for なら in "明日休みなら、今日はうちに泊まらないか" lesson sentence
- Fixed 何分 vocab flashcard. The reading was not the correct one for the meaning being taught. Was なにぶん, is now なんぷん. :shark_apology: :(
- Fixed a typo in Using NativShark article "The best way to learn Japanese".
- Fixed a grammatical error in the note on the 鳥 kanji flashcard.
New explanations
- Added to the Writer's Note after the sentence 明日連絡をくださいませんか in the lesson "をくださいませんか" that explained why 明日 is read as あす here. Also fixed furigana that had wrongly been set to あした in said sentence.
- Added a Deep Look box at the end of "How to use よろしく" lesson that briefly explains 初めまして and how we'll be looking at in in a few units.
- Added more to the note of the "彼氏いたの？" vocab flashcard to explain why いた is being translated as present tense in English. Also fixed the literal to properly show that いた is past-tense.
Audio
- Most of the audio of the "Using と and って for reported speech" lesson was missing. Fixed.
